A Vermont native, Jake Engle will graduate in May with a dual Public Relations and Political Science degree.
Jake joined PRSSA his freshman year, and prior to serving as a chapter president, he was one of the vice presidents of programming. Jake was also an account executive for the EDGE Program’s campaign to increase voter registration, which helped register about 5,000 individuals.
He is also a senatorial intern and a member of the pre-law fraternity on campus, and served as the communications director during the 2015-2016 school year. Most recently, he interned for a gubernatorial campaign in New Hampshire and a nonprofit science museum.

Samantha Spitalny will graduate from the Newhouse School in May with a major in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing from the Whitman School of Management.
Samantha has worked in both Fashion and Entertainment PR and her worldly experience from an internship in London, to her study abroad semester in Barcelona brings a fresh perspective to PRSSA's Executive Board.
She’s active on campus and served as a leader of her sorority, Sigma Delta Tau, on the Recruitment Committee.
This past summer, Samantha interned for Public Relations Agency, HL Group in their Fashion Department in NYC.
Samantha's excited to serve PRSSA as Co-President and looks forward to taking this impressive chapter to a new level!

Kenny is pursuing a dual major in Public Relations and Finance. The Long Island native is going into his junior year with a concentration in Financial Communications and Investor Relations.
He joined PRSSA during his sophomore year and is excited to take on his first leadership position within PRSSA as Vice President of Finance.
This past summer, Kenny worked with MSG Networks and Madison Square Garden Sports Properties as a PR intern. Kenny held prior internships with the New York Cosmos and the Long Island Herald.
On campus, he is also a member of business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi, a Staff Writer for the Daily Orange, a Whitman Ambassador and a member of SU Investment Club. He also is an avid supporter of the Syracuse Orange and his teams back home — Jets, Islanders, Cosmos, Knicks and Mets.
He hopes one day to work in either sports or investor relations.

Dan Denning will graduate in May with a dual Advertising and English and Textual Studies degree from the Newhouse School and the College of Arts and Sciences.
He started his work in public relations his freshman year when he first joined PRSSA, and got his first internship at the local Syracuse nonprofit, CNY Fair Housing. He has also enjoyed being a part of the TNH ad agency, Democracy Matters, and working at Newhouse’s CDC.
Dan participated in the Newhouse NYC program in his Spring 2017 semester where he interned at Penguin Random House, doing communications work for his favorite product: books!
Dan’s looking forward to serving as the Vice President of Administration over the next year and getting to work with as many members as possible!

Caitlin Kearns is a rising Junior in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications pursuing a degree in public relations and a minor in political science.
She will be serving her second year on the Executive Board as Co-Vice President of Programming, where she hopes to bring in even more knowledgeable and exciting speakers for the members of PRSSA! Caitlin will also continue to serve as Director of Public Relations for her sorority, Delta Gamma.
Recently, Caitlin gained incredible experience at a summer internship with Bravo and Oxygen at NBC Universal, and she can’t wait to apply what she learned to help make the W.P. Ehling Chapter the best it can possibly be.

Thomas St. Hilaire, a native of Hershey PA, will graduate in May of 2019. He is dual majoring in public relations and political science.
Thomas is thrilled about the opportunity to work with student leaders in the William P. Ehling Chapter of PRSSA at Syracuse University. In previous semesters, Thomas was a student leader in Syracuse University’s Running Club, Reporters Without Borders at Syracuse University, Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity International, and the Registered Student Organization Review Board.
He also looks forward to bringing some of his professional experiences to the organization. He has held several internships in the public relations industry, ranging from entertainment public relations to political public relations.
Upon graduation, Thomas is determined to pursue law school. He then hopes to dedicate his skills and knowledge to improving public health and international diplomacy through political advocacy.

Taylor Sheehan, a Rochester NY native, will graduate in the spring with a degree in public relations and a minor in sociology.
Taylor is the Special Events Coordinator for The Daily Orange where she aids all of the public relations needs of the student paper. In addition, she has a leadership position within her sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta, where she runs all of the social media and website content. She was also previously involved in Hill Communications on a fashion account for a local entrepreneur.
Over the past few summers, Taylor has gained invaluable experience in several PR and marketing internships in various fields such as finance, the tradeshow industry and a communications agency back home in Rochester.
Taylor is eager to get started as the new Co-Director of SOAR and build new connections through PRSSA this year!

Tanja Garic will graduate in December with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Political Science.
Tanja has experience in the hospitality, travel and luxury PR fields. Having interned in an agency, corporate headquarters and in-house, she hopes to bring this experience and outlook to SOAR and PRSSA’s executive board.
Most recently, Tanja spent the summer interning at Hyatt Hotel’s corporate headquarters in Chicago, where she spent her formative years. Her past internships have also included a spring internship at Quinn PR in New York City as well as an in-house internship at a luxury hotel during the previous two summers.
Tanja cannot wait to work with the fellow members of PRSSA and is excited to begin on new initiatives for the SOAR program. Upon graduation, Tanja plans to pursue a career in the hospitality sector of public relations at the corporate level.

A military brat from San Diego, California, Linda will graduate in May with a dual Public Relations and Economics degree. Linda's dream came true when joining PRSSA as a transfer her sophomore year.
From an account executive for the EDGE Program to the Director of Development for the program, Linda will be going on her second consecutive year as the Director. Teaching and mentoring freshman, sophomores and transfers the fundamentals of PR strategy. She has worked with an array of clients all over Syracuse and hopes to continue to be a service to the city with our talented Edge Program. Along with PRSSA, Linda will be serving as the Panhellenic President for ‘Cuse making her mark in the Greek community.
Upon graduation, she plans to join the United Air Force then pursue a career in PR Law.

Kate is a junior majoring in Public Relations. She is actively involved with her sorority, Alpha Xi Delta for which she is the Alumni Relations chair and held the position of Press Secretary for the Student Association in the spring semester. This fall she will also be representing L.L.Bean as their campus ambassador for Syracuse.
Kate participated in EDGE her sophomore year and is looking forward to being on the reverse end of the program this school year.

Genna is pursuing majors in both Public Relations and Political Science. She is from Framingham, MA and will graduate in May of 2019.
Genna has served on the Public Relations E- Board for University Union the past three semesters and is currently the Assistant Public Relations Director. She has also developed her communication skills by writing for the Daily Orange and working as an associate for Hill Communications.
After these incredible learning experiences, Genna is eager to bring her passion and communication skills to her role as VP of Communications for PRSSA.

Anna Army is a sophomore Public Relations student in the SI Newhouse School of Communications. She plans to minor in Management Studies and Policy Studies. She is from Millbury, Massachusetts and loves the beach, food and of course- public relations!
During Anna's freshman year she was involved with PRSSA by completing the EDGE program and interning for Hill Communications. She spent the Summer of 2017 interning at her county's largest newspaper, the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, in their Marketing & Events department. At home, she is also a manager at a pizza place and BBQ restaurant.
She loves to spend her time staying busy. Anna is excited for this school year to become even more involved in PRSSA and take more challenging courses.
